According to our vision in the Graduate School of Environmental Health, education and research in the department is based on investigating environmental effects on humans from the viewpoints of internal and external environments, with consideration given to both the environment and human body respectively, as well as incorporating ideas and research from the new specialized fields of natural science and social science. Based on this philosophy, students in this graduate course acquire a deeper knowledge of theory and application, cultivate research ability and advanced specialists skills, with the objective of becoming talented individuals who can contribute to society.

In order to address questions concerning the relationship between external environmental factors and health, students undertake human-centered research into the connection between internal biological factors and health and external environmental factors and health.
According to the philosophy and educational goals of the Course of Environmental Health Science, our objective is for students specializing in Environmental Health to not only cultivate a high sense of ethics, but also to develop advanced expertise and high level creative research ability in the fields of clinical examination technology, life science as well as environmental and undergo training to become independent researchers and leaders in related fields.
