日本・アジア青少年サイエンス交流事業（さくらサイエンスプラン）の修了式を挙行いたしました　Closing ceremony of the Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science 2015 (Sakura Science Plan) at Azabu University）

平成27年11月29日（日）から、国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構の支援を受けて、アジア15か国の23大学から、24人の大学生、大学院学生及び若手教員を本学に招へいし、実施した「日本・アジア青少年サイエンス交流事業（さくらサイエンスプラン）」（テーマ：人と動物の感染症に関わる国際防疫ネットワーク構築と人材育成）の修了式を、平成27年12月7日（月）に、本学の生命・環境科学部棟にて、挙行いたしました。
修了式には、学長、獣医学部長、獣医学科長、学長補佐（広報担当）、事務局長及び関係教員のほか、在本邦ラオス人民民主共和国大使館一等書記官が出席し、修了式終了後には、昼食を取りながら、和やかな雰囲気の中、招へい者と交流を行いました。

The closing ceremony for the Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science 2015 (Sakura Science Plan) at Azabu University, Japan, with the theme "Human resources development through the formation of an international network to control zoonotic and veterinary infectious diseases", was carried out on December 7, 2015, at the Life and Environmental Science Building. Recipients of the course completion certificate include 24 foreign participants, comprising of both students and faculty members from 23 universities in 15 countries in Asia.
The ceremony was officiated by President Asari, attended by Dean Tsuchiya, Veterinary Department Chairperson Yamashita, Presidential Deputy Takizawa, Chief Administrative Officer Sawayanagi as well as other faculty members.
The event was also kindly graced by the attendance of Mr. Somphone Leuangtakoun, the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) sponsor the above program.
