日本・アジア青少年サイエンス交流事業（さくらサイエンスプラン）の開講式を挙行いたしました　Opening ceremony of the Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science 2018 (Sakura Science Plan) at Azabu University

平成30年8月28～9月6日までの10日間，アジア19か国の獣医関連トップランキング大学24校から，若手教員24名を本学に招へいし，「日本・アジア青少年サイエンス交流事業（さくらサイエンスプラン）」（テーマ：人と動物の感染症に関わる国際防疫ネットワーク構築と人材育成）を実施するに当たり，平成30年8月29日に，本学の獣医学部棟にて開講式を挙行いたしました。国内からは日本大学 生物資源科学部および本学の教員が参加しました。なお，この活動は，国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構（JST）の支援を受けて実施しています。

The Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science 2018 (Sakura Science Plan) at Azabu University, Japan, with the theme "Human resources development through the formation of an international network to control zoonotic and veterinary infectious diseases" is being carried out from August 28 to September 06, 2018. In this project, 24 foreign participants, comprising mainly of faculty members from 24 universities in 19 countries in Asia were invited. The opening ceremony of the course was officiated by Prof. Dr. Asari Masao, President of Azabu University, on August 29, 2018 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Domestic participants include faculty staff from Nihon Univ. and Azabu Univ. This project is being sponsored by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
