麻布大学におけるオハイオ州立大学(OSU) 海外研修 ～ Ohio State University Study Abroad Program conducted at Azabu University

2023年5月11-12日，オハイオ州立大学(OSU)の海外学習プログラム(Study Abroad Program)の一環として，OSU教授の茨木希先生および栗田先生が16名のアメリカ学生を引率して麻布大学に来訪し，研修が行われた．学生達は公衆衛生をテーマに，本学の学生との討論を行い，また，講義や実習を受講した．
A total of 16 students from The Ohio State University (OSU) study abroad program, led by Prof. Ibaraki Motomu and Dr. Kurita Takeshi, visited Azabu University for a two whole day learning program in public health. The American students participated in a mini-symposium with Azabu university students and discussed topics of mutual interest. Besides listening to lectures on Proliferation of pest insects in the aftermath of tsunami, Food-borne bacteria and parasites, they also participated in the bacteriological and parasitological practical.

公衆衛生学をテーマにミニシンポジウムを行っているオハイオ州立大学生と麻布大学生．本学のジョナサン・リンチ先生の指導の下で行われ，石原淳子先生，三澤宣雄先生および寺川純平先生も参加して討論を盛り上げた．
Mini-symposium on the public health and topic of mutual interest were being carried out by Ohio State Univ. students and Azabu Univ. students. This symposium was coordinated by Dr. by Dr. Lynch Jonathan．Drs. Ishihara Junko, Misawa Nobuo and Terakawa Jumpei also helped in discussion.

Ohio State Univ. students visited the university Museum of Life (Inochi-no-Hakubutsukan). Japanese students guided and explained the exhibits to the US students.
食品媒介病原体について勉強するオハイオ州立大学生．本学の森田幸雄先生と岡谷友三アレシャンドレ先生が指導した．
Ohio State Univ. students are handling the various bacterial culture plates. The food-borne zoonotic lecture and practical were coordinated by Drs. Morita Yuko and Okatani Tomomitsu Alexandre.

Ohio State Univ. students looking for parasites from a mackerel. The practical was coordinated by Drs. Taira Kensuke and Ooi Hong-Kean. Japanese students also helped in the execution of the practical.
