プロフィール

岩手大学農学部獣医学科を2011年3月に卒業後、2011年4月岐阜大学大学院連合獣医学研究科に入学。2014年9月に学位を取得後、2014年10月より広島大学大学院医歯薬保健学研究科でポストドクター、2015年4月より自治医科大学医学部で助教を務めた後2022年4月より現職。

細菌は目では見えないのに、目に見える病気を起こします。病気を起こす菌もいれば、病気から守る菌もいます。時に悪になったり、時に善になったりと多数派につく日和った菌もいます。体は菌がいると困るし、いなくても困ります。そんな、チグハグであべこべなバイ菌や体の関係を調べるのが好きです。

After graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Iwate University in March 2011, I entered the United Graduate School of Veterinary Sciences at Gifu University in April of the same year. After obtaining my degree in September 2014, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences at Hiroshima University from October 2014, and as an assistant professor at Jichi Medical University School of Medicine from April 2015 until my current position, which I started in April 2022.

Bacteria cannot be seen with the naked eye, yet they can cause visible diseases. There are bacteria that cause diseases, and there are also bacteria that protect against diseases. There are bacteria that are either good or bad, and they can be either probiotic or pathogenic depending on the situation. The body may be troubled by the presence of bacteria, but also by their absence. I enjoy studying bacteria that exhibit such contradictory and reverse characteristics.
